The Cockroach Trilogy (Film)
Directed by Michael McNamara
Starring Alan Williams
From Filmmaker Michael McNamara: I’ve admired Alan Williams’ ever since I sat gob-smacked watching him perform the first part of The Cockroach Trilogy in 1981 in Toronto. Powerful, clever, terrifying…and achingly funny. I returned to see parts 2 and 3. 10 years later I finally convinced him to make a feature film adaptation. It premiered at TIFF in 96 and earned a Best Actor Genie Nomination.  He returned to the UK to continue jobbing on stage and onscreen, all the while collecting material of experiences and observations about his years crisscrossing the Atlantic.  I cannot wait to see these new shows!  Preparing to be gob-smacked!
